Missionary Scott Smith speaks to us about their ministry in Spain and about the church’s duty to be obedient to the great commission. The couple starts about five churches a year and is in need of support and prayer. The world is filled with un-reached people. The world is filled with countries that are either lost in atheism or false religions and need to hear about Christ.

Father’s Day Message – The first command with a promise is to honor our father and mother. Pastor Keith Short shares ways to honor our father. The WIP approach - willingly, immediately, pleasantly. When we obey our parents, in actuality we are obeying God. The Bible does not say to honor our parents when they are nice to us, but to simply honor.

Throughout life, there are times when God calls us to make a change. In nature, we see this with adolescent birds as they leave the nest. We are often called to leave the comfort of our current situation and to head out in faith. Pastor Keith Short preaches on this and draws a comparison to the story of Abraham leaving his home alone in obedience to follow God’s command. Remember that many times when our current situation is troubled, sometimes God stirs our nest to make us fly to new heights in him.

The joy of the Lord is our strength, and a lot of us can’t be happy till we know who we are and who’s we are. A lot of people today don’t know who they are and have lost site of the truth in the word of God. Rather than being challenged to change, it is tempting to “rewrite” and “reinterpret” scripture to suit our current needs. This is a major factor contributing to the trouble with modern culture. Join us as we take a deeper look at these challenging issues.
